Birthdays always make me think of the swift fleeting of life. 56 years young & the future is definitely shorter than my past!
So, here’s some words of wisdom.
Love your body & allow it to age. If you don’t respect it & treat it with care, how can you expect other people to?
Ditch that relationship/friendship that isn’t making you feel worthwhile or giving you 100%. Go in search of joy & never compromise on your feelings. Listen to your inner voice. Always. It talks to you for a reason.
Don’t put up with half measures. Of course, do things to make other people happy, but not at the expense of your own happiness.
That thing you always wanted to do? Do it! Even if you fail, the trying is the most satisfying thing you can do.
Set yourself new goals, keep life fresh, embrace change & challenge yourself. Every day.
Embrace your advancing years, your wisdom, the things you’ve learned, the mistakes you’ve made, chase the freedom to be yourself, be authentic, do you!
Take risks! Don’t leave it until the sun sets. Don’t go with regrets.
The older you get, the more of a privilege it is to still be here.
Live in the moment. Life. No refunds, no returns, no exchanges.
Thank you for my birthday messages, thoughts & wishes.
I’m looking for a much more dignified and graceful entrance to 2024 & I hope to see you sometime soon.
And if you feel you’re here for all the wrong reasons, it’s perhaps better to look closer to home for the answers you’re searching for. I really can’t help you with that.
That’s up to you. And you alone.
